What’s your strategy for dealing with slow recovery? Contraction or expansion?

So many business owners focus heavily on cost cutting to survive a recession and slow recovery, but perhaps there are other strategies that may be more productive such as launching new products and services.

Entrepreneur magazine’s website has an article dated January 18, 2010 titled “How to Boost Sales in a Deflated Economy: Introduce new products or services to help your small business beat the recession in ways that cost-cutting can’t” that provides some interesting thoughts.
